Project Description
Fort Worth Independent School District retained Campos Engineering to assess if their existing MEP systems at O.D. Wyatt High School serves the building’s functions and meets current industry standards for energy efficiency. The assessment evaluated equipment condition, serviceability, remaining useful life, and the ability to meet efficiency standards. Campos made recommendations for improvements based on current code requirements, industry standards for like facilities, and their unique expertise to maximize the value from the available budget.
Campos provided MEP engineering design services for the $44M renovation and addition to the high school. Additionally, Campos provided MEP design services for the $4M renovation of the existing Athletic Field House. Campos performed an MEP existing conditions survey that highlighted the replacement of light fixtures and electrical panels.
The high school addition consists of a new wrestling room, weight room, training room (with a whirlpool and restroom), laundry facilities, head coach office, and additional restrooms.
