Significance of Project
MEP engineering design for a small-scale commercial redevelopment
Project Description
This mixed-use property, located within the South Main Village Redevelopment of Fort Worth, provides an eclectic mix of locally owned and operated businesses to the neighborhood by the adaptive reuse of existing structures and integration of residential units.
Campos worked with a local design-build contractor to design MEP systems for the redevelopment at 804 South Main. The first tenants of this building included a craft coffee shop, a lounge, a government field office, and an accounting business.
Campos Engineering provided MEP engineering design services for the tenant finish for five different spaces in this building. Each area required lighting throughout, separate HVAC systems, and plumbing for their dedicated restrooms. Tenants with dining rooms also required kitchen hoods and grease waste piping connected to a grease trap.
